In Gamma Phi Beta, we pride ourselves on our community involvement. Our sisters have been forming relationships and working with multiple community organizations. We have participated in multiple dodgeball tournaments at the Boys and Girls Club, cleaned and organized at the Jesus Center, cleaned and provided safe Halloween events for the children of the Esplanade House, helped promote and participated in Chico Walks for Autism, and assisted at the local Girls on the Run 5K. Over the past year, our sisters have organized and ran multiple events that have helped raise over $5,000. The funds raised were evenly distributed between Gamma Phi Beta’s three philanthropic organizations: Girls on the Run, Campfire USA, and Girl Guides of Canada.
