Gamma Phi Beta places a great deal of importance on scholarship and assists members in reaching academic goals at the University of San Diego. The Scholarship Chair as well as the Scholarship advisor are always available to assist members in finding resources or tutors to reach their full academic potential. Chapter members can also sign up to be tutors to help their sisters with their studies. Each semester, members attend and invite their professors to our Scholarship banquet. Members are recognized for their academic achievements and we also award a Professor of the Year.

Members are encouraged to complete study hours which have proven to be very successful.  Most new members see a huge GPA increase between their first and second semester.  Study hours are a non-stressful way to help improve academic achievement and an opportunity to spend some time with our sisters!

The women of Gamma Phi Beta dedicate their time and committment to beyond that of the sorority.  Many members are actively involved in other campus organizations and have achieved prestigious awards and memberships elsewhere.  Being a member of Gamma Phi does not restrict your membership elsewhere, but instead encourages it.

Each semester Gamma Phi Beta schedules an all house retreat which is either held in San Diego or an exciting nearby destination! Retreats are a great time to learn more about Gamma Phi, create goals, bond with sisters and make memories to last a lifetime!

Our most recent retreat up to Palomar mountain where we enjoyed many
sisterhood activities such as archery, team games, sharing cabins and even a campfire!

Pledge class retreats at our advisors house are a great time for a fun sleepover with your sisters!
