 "Gamma Phi Beta and Camp Fire USA, one of the nation's leading nonprofit, coeducational youth development organizations, are pleased to announce their joint collaboration in providing camping experiences for girls that will enhance and enrich their lives. Camping has been the international philanthropic focus of Gamma Phi Beta since 1929. In this endeavor, the Sorority's mission is to provide experiences and resources that build spiritual, mental and social resiliency in girls. Together, these experiences help Camp Fire USA achieve its mission of building caring, confident youth and future leaders." ~gammaphibeta.org
Epsilon Gamma has helped raise thousands of dollars for the local San Diego Campfire USA. The fires in 2003 destroyed their campsite, and since then we have put our efforts into helping them rebuild in order to continue to create opportunities for young girls in our area.

Every Spring for the past twelve years, Gamma Phi puts on a fun filled volleyball tournament in Mission Beach. Teams can join a fun or competitive bracket and all proceeds are donated to our national philanthropy Campfire USA! Come and soak up the sun, listen to music, hang out with friends, play some volleyball and support a great cause!

Team Gamma Phi Beta is proud to have participated in the 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk for many years now!
2008: Team Gamma Phi Beta had 12 participants and raised over $28,000!
2007: Team Gamma Phi Beta had 10 participants and raised over $25,000!
2006: Team Gamma Phi Beta had 9 participants and raised over $22,000!
In three years, 31 Gamma Phi participants have raised over $80,000 for breast cancer research for the Susan G. Komen Foundation!

Epsilon Gamma holds seasonal fundraising activities to help raise money for Campfire USA and other philathropies! An annual Crush Gram fundraiser around Valentine's Day allows USD students to purchase Crush strawberry soda bottles, attach a special note and have it hand delivered by a Gamma Phi! Another fundraiser called "Santa's Little Helpers" is a great opportunity for USD students to purchase homemade Gamma Phi treats and sweets of all sorts!

The members of Gamma Phi Beta know that your get out what you put in. That is why we dedicate our time to helping our community. Community involvement is a great way to get to know your neighbors and to be able to give back to your community. Some of our philanthropic efforts include:
- Fundraising and volunteering with San Diego Campfire USA
- Fundraising for Breast Cancer Research- Walk for Hope, 3-Day Walk, etc.
- Fundraising for St. Jude's Research Hospital
- Tutoring at Juvenile Hall
- Volunteering at Rachel's Womens Shelter
- Tutoring at St. Patrick's Elementary School
- Volunteering at Stand Up for Kids- a shelter and program for homeless teens in San Diego
- Volunteering and Participating in the Carlsbad 5000
- McMillin Heart Walk
- Relay 4 Life
- Jamba Juice 5K run
- Holiday Toy Drives for local community
- San Diego Blood Drive
